Down the line, you might wanna upgrade to something with more bells and whistles, and your tutor can help you decide when that makes sense.

You might also want to pick up some extra plugins or apps to amp up your game. While you can make awesome music with just Live, there are a few extra gadgets that can really take your sound to the next level when you're ready.

As for gear, if you can get your hands on an Ableton Push, it's a game-changer for making music in Live. We totally dig teaching students how to use it. But don't stress if you can't get one; any kind of midi controller will do the trick for entering notes and beats.
